An IV drip delivers essential nutrients and fluids directly into your bloodstream. This allows the nutrients to bypass the digestive tract for 100% absorption instead of 10-20% with oral supplements.  Going right into the blood stream the nutrients can start working at a much higher dose right away without the side effects of high dosing oral supplements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

At Higher Health , we like to start with an intro series of 1x\/week for 4-6 weeks.  Within that time, people can usually feel a difference.  Some notice it right away after 1-2 treatments, while for others, it takes a bit longer, dependent on health history and conditions being treated.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>What goes into a typical IV bag?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

A base IV drip bag contains Vitamin C, Magnesium, calcium, minerals, B vitamins, specific amino acids and antioxidants.  Depending on your health goals, we add additional nutrients.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>How long does an IV take?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Depending on the size of your IV drip bag and nutrients added, an IV Drip can take anywhere from 25 minutes to over an hour.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

This depends on your treatment plan and health goals. Most people start with 2-4 IVs their first month and see how they feel.  Our NDs will stay connected with you to ensure you are getting the optimal treatment for you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Yes. IV Therapy has been used for over 60 years and is very safe. There are numerous studies on the safety of IV Therapy which can be read in the research section.  With our personal experience, we have been using IV Therapy treatments since 2011 with great success.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

At this time the only way to get IV nutrients directly into your blood stream is with a needle. The good news we use the smallest needles possible (different than blood draw needles) and some people don\u2019t even feel it being inserted. We also use various techniques and strategies to ensure comfort during the insertion process.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
